Mrs. Fajger’s main subject is her own body: it is young, healthy but overweight.
Naturally, many others are in a similar situation, but she, having fully made peace with her own body despite of today’s fashion, makes it the theme for her works.
She is aware of society’s expectations, therefore she does it in a reflective way: she chooses her ’fat body’ as her subject, not only her body in itself. She admittedly has 30 kg excess weight according to the body fat index, thus she decided to use this amount of fat as the subject of her work, creating a strange situation by making the inner parts of her body visible.
