Rosalba Carriera and me

As an Erasmus exchange student in 2010, I examined and copied Rosalba Carriera’s pictures in the Zwinger in Dresden every day. I found her paintings’ brushwork, structures, lines and use of colour exiciting; I tried to learn and re-interpret them.
